My grandma had a 78 record of Noel Coward singing "Half Caste Woman." When I listened to it as a little girl, I didn't know what it was talking about. The story the song tells is still mysterious to me. I wonder if you ever sang that song onstage or film? I think 2 of the songs Gruber sang in 'Alo 'Alo were Noel Coward's.

I was looking forward to when you, Kim H., and Richard G. would resume your podcast this autumn. I really enjoyed watching the fun you were all having recounting stories about each episode. I can't find anything past July of 2025. What happened to the return of your podcast?

I recently watched the Genesis of the Daleks and thought, "Hey, that looks like Gary Siner!" Looked it up, and of course, it is. Then looked at your filmography and realized how many things I'd seen you in, and either didn't realize at the time, or had forgotten.

But who could forget Gruber? I love the subtlety you brought to a character who could have easily been far too campy. You brought the exact right balance to make him a brilliantly hilarious.

Now I'm going to go watch some of your other roles that I've missed before. Thanks for your terrific work!

I've had the privilege of meeting you once and told you in person - but I just wanted to say again how much I love Gruber! You and the whole cast/crew of 'Allo 'Allo gave me great memories that I share with my late grandad so I really do value that. Thank you! I also love your work in Genesis of the Daleks - where your character is perhaps more fascist than poor old Gruber! Take care.
